Phenotype: At 2 years of age Gero came 2nd in the 1991 D.V. Meisterschaft (97/92/97) (National schutzhund championships - Photos below) and again in 1996 (99/95/98). He passed the Koerung for life (Photo below), both times with highest rating for hardness & working drives (Very High protection, courage, hardness, & fighting drives and middle sharpness). His ability and will to work earned him the name "King Tiger" from Germany's finest helpers.
Gero proved his prepotent powers as a stud dog by siring the winners of the German Police dog trials and the D.V. Meisterschaft (National schutzhund championships) and MANY excellent working (schutzhund & police) dobermann.
(including the B&C litter Doberwache - see Bronco).

Health:
Gero was born Jan.29, 1989 He died at 12 years of age!
His dam, Cora also died at 11 years of age. (Granddam, Cona v. Niederkassel, lived to 14.5 yrs. of age)

Genotype:
Gero's Dam, Cora v.d. Mooreiche, and her littermates (Castor & Chiela) competed in the D.V.Meisterschaft (National schutzhund championships) and passed the Koerung for life.
Gero's Sire, Asko v.d. Weyermuhle,SchH 3, is from the legendary "A" litter Weyermuhle, many of whom competed in the D.V. Meisterschaft (National schutzhund championships) and passed the Koerung with highest rating for hardness and working drives..

NOTE OF INTEREST: The combination that produced Gero was made with littermates = Cheska v.d. Mooreiche (sister to Cora) & Amor v.d. Weyermuhle (brother to Asko) to produce the "A" Litter Merkureck. This very successful litter included police dog Adux v. Merkureck (photo below) and Anouk & Andy, who competed in the Meisterschaft.
