Faroh vom Blitzkrieger
Phenotype: Faroh is vWd Clear, full dentition, OFA Excellent hips (DP-9844E25F-PI). In her work, Faroh showed a RARE combination of extraordinary fighting/prey drives (aggression), hardness and CONFIDENCE. Faroh is a very substantial bitch with excellent conformation. She is dam to the Blitzkrieger "I" Litter and "K" Litter Faroh was the only pup from this combination. She was born with outstanding confidence (and outstanding nerve fiber) which she displayed in every situation she encountered. (See below photos with 2 different helpers at 9 weeks of age!). (video available) At 4 months of age, Faroh passed temperament/protection instinct test under Martin Hellgiman (Germany). (video available) Faroh was extremely serious and focused in all bitework (& tracking) yet always affectionate with friends and stable in her temperament. From the day she was born, Faroh personified the German term "geltungstrieb" which refers to a dog that never wants to lose face in ANY circumstance. VIDEO'S AVAILABLE Genotype: Faroh's dam Allee vom Blitzkrieger,SchH.1, is a very hard bitch with excellent fighting drive and substance. Allee is half sister to Faroh's sire, Bronco v.d. Doberwache. Allee's dam, Chauka vom Warringhof, received highest rating for working drives, high hardness and V rating in conformation under Ottmar Vogel. Faroh's sire, Bronco v.d.Doberwache is a German Police dog who also qualified for the IDC World Schutzhund Championships at 2 years of age with 100/90/98 and works with the German and Finnish Police. Bronco's littermates , Branca and Brista, passed the korung with the highest possible ratings for hardness & working drives (VERY HIGH protection, fighting, courage, hardness with mid sharpness). Biene passed the Swedish Koerung. Other littermates are employed as Police dogs. Bronco's dam, Kleo v.d. Weyermuhle, won the 1996 IDC World (Schutzhund) Championships & was 1993 Vize-Sgr. Finnigh DVG Meisterschaft (schutzhund championships). Kleo is a very strong bitch and Polizeidiensthund les Landes NRW (German Police). Bronco's (& Allee's) sire is Gero v.d. Mooreiche, twice vice Leistungsieger in the German Meisterschaft (National schutzhund championships), and passed the korung twice with the highest possible ratings for hardness &working drives. Gero is sire to the Blitzkrieger "A" Litter, Doberwache "B" & "C:" litter (some of which are police dogs), the winner of the D.V.Meisterschaft (National schutzhund championships) AND the winner of the German Police Dog trails, (& many more exceptional working dobermann). | I am devastated to report Faroh
was euthanized on Dec. 27th, 2003 due to kidney failure. Faroh was
a very strong dog and showed no sign of sickness until her kidneys were
virtually destroyed. Ironically this contributed to her death because
kidney cels cannot regenerate themselves.
In September 2003, my truck had been damaged by hitting a short pole which caused the radiator contents to empty on my property. It is believed Faroh ingested a very small amount of anti-freeze = enough to damage her kidneys but not enough to kill her immediately. True to her outstanding strength of character, she displayed NO sign of her weakened condition until mid December. In fact I was not sure there was anything wrong and even my vet thought perhaps I was imagining things ....until the test results came back! Faroh was then immediately rushed back to the vet in an attempt to save her life by removing accumulated poisons from her system. She returned home for Christmas, weaker in body but not in character. As in every other aspect of her life, Faroh never stopped fighting and nothing ever destroyed her confident attitude! Only her eyes revealed what she was going through and I could not stand to see her quality of life diminished so horribly. She was euthenized and died peacefully in my arms. Faroh lives on in my heart and in her progeny (See Icaro & Kali above photos). For me she embodied every outstanding quality I ever hoped to find in any working dog.....she was simply the best working bitch (and loving companion) I have ever known. I will never forget her! Copies of the autopsy are available on request. The cause of Faroh's kidney failure is not genetic. Basically the autopsy report states kidney "filter" damage caused by unknown toxin or bacteria. Faroh was born April 13, 1999 Faroh's dam, Allee vom Blitzkrieger died at 10.75 years of age. Faroh's sire Bronco v.d. Doberwache died at 10.5 years of age. Faroh's grandfather (Gero v.d. Mooreiche) died at 12 years of age. Her paternal grandmother (Kleo v.d. Weyermuhle) died at almost 13 years of age. Her maternal grandmother (Chauka vom Warringhof) died of cancer at 8 years of age.
